General information on membership and membership fees
According to the Statutes of The Polish Society of Social Psychology (PSPS)
every member shall be classed as one of the following:
- Full Member,
- Junior Member,
- Honorary Member.
Full Member is:
- the founder member of the Society,
- the person holding the doctoral degree who works in the field
of social psychology recommended by two Ordinary Members and approved of by the Executive Committee.
Junior Member is:
- the person holding university degree who works in the field
of social psychology recommended by two Ordinary Members and approved of by the Executive Committee.
- Junior Member after completion of her/his Ph.D. may apply for membership as an
Full Member according to the Article 10 (Point 2) of the Statutes (compare previous section on
regulations concerning Ordinary Members). Junior membership ceases on member's resignation
to pursue a doctoral degree or after 5 years of membership without having completed her/his Ph.D.
Membership fee
According to the decision of the General Meeting of The Polish Society of Social Psychology
which took place in Sękocin from October 1 to October 2, 2004, the annual membership fee
is from the first day of 2005 on PLN 150 for the Ordinary Member and PLN 75 for the Junior Member.
Subscription to the journal 'Social Psychology' is included in the fee.
