Morton Deutsch Awards to Professor Grzelak and Professor Reykowski
We would like to inform that the two eminent Polish social psychologist,
Professor Janusz Grzelak and
Professor Janusz Reykowski [UW website]
, have been given awards in the name of Morton Deutsch (Scholar-Practitioner Morton Deutsch Award for Social Justice).
The Award is given annually by The International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (ICCCR) at Columbia University
for playing a prominent role in promoting scientific achievements in conflict resolution in social life.
Both laureates are members of The Polish Society of Social Psychology: Professor Grzelak was the President of the Society from 2004 to 2007, Professor Reykowski is the Honorary Member of the Society.

Solomon Asch Award - prize of PLN 2000 for the best paper by young researcher
The Solomon Asch Award is directed at young researchers who have published their papers
in 'Social Psychology' before or after completion of Ph.D. (however, no later than 3 years after completion of the Ph.D.).
Only papers which were published in the year previous to the year of competition announcement will be taken into consideration.
The candidate for the award should be either the only author or the first co-author of the article.
The winner will be selected by the editorial staff of 'Social Psychology' on
the basis of critical assessment of all papers which meet the required criteria.
Announcement of the winner and prize delivery will take place at the award ceremony during the General Meeting of The Polish Society of Social Psychology in September.
